TTAP: A Versatile Delay Effect for iOS

TTAP for iOS is an AUv3 delay effect developed by K-Devices. This powerful delay plugin is inspired by both analog tape and digital textural effects, offering a wide range of delay sounds and experimental echoes. Whether you need simple delay effects, subtle enhancements, or evolving textures, TTAP has got you covered.

Please note that TTAP is an Audio Unit extension (AUv3) and can only be used in AUv3 host apps like Garageband, AUM, Cubasis, Modstep, Beatmaker 3, and more.

TTAP features two buffers, each with extensive controls for shaping the envelope of the delay sound. It also offers glitchy pre-feedback repeats and warm pitch-bends. The dedicated Section control allows you to determine the maximum length of time for the second buffer, while also acting as a virtual LFO control for modulation parameters.

Both the Delay Time and Section controls can be synced to your DAW or run freely, providing up to 3.0 seconds of delay time each. You can even change the speed while TTAP is running with high feedback for a dynamic expanding/contracting doppler effect.

In addition to the fade control that allows you to easily transition between two delay buffers, TTAP offers glitchy randomized repeats (synced to the Section time) for a more experimental sound. Each buffer also has a dedicated reverse switch for added flexibility.

The intuitive display in TTAP provides visual feedback on the mix between buffers, feedback amount, time gap between buffers, and the envelope for each buffer. The plugin encourages a more musical and creative approach by using symbols for controls instead of individual readouts. However, if you prefer precise values, you can see and edit them by clicking on any parameter.
